Your feed is newest first, always. Nothing boosted, nothing buried, nothing surfaced because it made people angry. When you've seen everything since last time, the feed ends and tells you so.
No sexual content, no gore
Not filtered — not allowed. You should be able to hand your phone to your mother without checking what's on the screen first.
No anonymous accounts
Every account is tied to a real verified phone number. Sellers and businesses verify government ID. People are remarkably decent when their name is attached.
No pile-ons
Strangers can't drop into your comments uninvited. And if a post starts drawing a crowd of people looking for a fight, comments close automatically and a person looks at it.
No selling you
Your data is not for sale, to advertisers or to anyone else. There's no setting for it because there's nothing to turn off.
To be clear: this isn't a church. It's a front porch.

What does "Fratpage" mean? Is this a college thing?
No. Frater is Latin for brother — fraternity in the old sense, the kinship of ordinary people. That's where the tagline comes from: the fraternity for everybody. It's for your grandmother, your neighbor, the man who cuts your hair, and you.
Is it free?
Yes. Posting, messaging, groups, events, the marketplace, and your profile are free and will stay free. Later there'll be optional paid extras — profile colors and cosmetic touches, and paid tools for businesses that want booking and analytics. Nothing that keeps you safe or lets you use the app will ever sit behind a paywall.
How do you make money if you don't sell my data?
Businesses pay for storefront tools. People who want to support it can pay a few dollars a month for cosmetic extras. That's it — the same way a barbershop makes money by cutting hair instead of by selling a list of who sat in the chair.
How do you keep it clean without reading everything I post?
Mostly by design rather than surveillance. There's no reshare-with-commentary feature, so nobody can broadcast your post to strangers with a dunk attached. Strangers can't comment on your personal posts unless you let them. Uploaded images are automatically screened for nudity and gore. And when something is reported, a person reads it and writes back with what they decided and why.
When does it launch?
City by city, starting with one. Get on the list and you'll hear the moment it opens near you — and nothing in between. If you own a local business, say so when you sign up and you'll be first in line for a founding page.
Can I bring my friends and my page from another platform?
Yes, and we'd like you to. Founding businesses get a QR code, a printable sign, and graphics for your existing pages, so the people who already follow you can find you here in one tap.
